I believe each person who enters my office has experienced pain, fear, and often trauma. As a result of these experiences, the individual often adopts flawed solutions to cope. These flawed solutions can manifest as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and/or addictions.
During the therapy process, each person will be treated with respect and dignity to help them make the changes necessary to meet their therapy goals.
Creating a safe and confidential space for risk is essential in the therapeutic process. This will allow patients to confront the fear, pain, and trauma from the past, and develop new coping mechanisms that are not harmful to the patient or others.
